El Rompido - Ramblers tranquil walking holiday!

Overseas property investors are increasingly seeking possible opportunities in the fishing village of El Rompido, according to a local expert.

The fishing village of El Rompido is one of the most tranquil and unspoilt spots on Huelva's Costa de la Luz. Eight kilometers from the nearest town of Cartaya, El Rompido itself has bars situated on the waterfront, several restaurants and a campsite. This is a fantastic and relaxing holiday that manages to offer a mixture of easy rambling, a little sightseeing and history, some flora and fauna.

The Spanish National Tourist Board recently selected the Costa de la Luz village as the face of its new promotional campaign and is using the tranquil picture-postcard beach of El Rompido in Huelva in an international print advertising campaign. Andrew Benitez, from Titan Properties, has said that the promotion of the village on an international campaign will bring "much-deserved attention" to the area. This is likely to lead to an influx of extra visitors, which in turn will push up demand for rental accommodation in the area.

This comes after the news that The Times has reported that the Ministry of Housing claims the property prices increased by 0.4 per cent in the year to September.
